Description
Here we have as near perfect a copy of Traffic's second album as I think it's possible to find in 2012; this album is best described as nearly new. The sound quality is immaculate save for a tiny bit of distortion at the start of Forty Thousand Headmen. The vinyl is clean and shines like a new disc; there is a tiny kink at the edge which doesn't affect the sound or play. The cover has its booklet intact and firmly stapled in; all that mars it is a tiny crease at bottom left on the front. It's as clean as a whistle. The labels are matt in texture save for the very edges. The cover is a flipback (folded over at the top in the middle) and is printed by Garrod and Lofthouse. The matrix number is completed by a T for the band's name, just like Quintessence's album In Blissful Company had a Q because of its booklet. The dead wax matrices are ILPS 9081T A//2 and B//5 which shows it is a very early pressing. Iconic band and iconic album with all the qualities of a new record fresh off the presses. Honestly, I defy anyone to find a better copy of this psychedelic classic. Come and have a look.
