Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my Beatles, Rolling Stones and some progressive records that are form my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, a very rare U.K. STEREO pressing of Traffic – John Barleycorn Must Die on the PINK ISLAND label with the white “i” logo, label, cat. no. ILPS 9116.
The record is in VG++ condition, there are some non-sounding hairlines and one or two visible, but non-sounding lines. The TEXTURED labels are in VG+ condition, there are a some spindle marks and some slight wear around the spindle hole.
The cover is in VG condition, there is a sticker mark in the upper right hand corner, a crease in the lower right hand corner, a bald spot in the upper section of the spine and some age discolouring. Further this cover looks tidy for its age, no writing, no rips or tears or other damage than mentioned.
This is a very rare U.K. pressing of Traffic’s John Barleycorn Must Die album on the PINK ISLAND label. These PINK ISLAND records are becoming very scarce nowadays (later pink rim labels are quite easy to find), so this is your chance to complete your Traffic or PINK ISLAND label collection. Within the European Union, the postage costs are £ 8.75, outside the E.U. £ 15.00 (sorry, but postage rates in the Netherlands are very high). Payment within 7 days after the auction has ended.
Please also note that the shipping costs are the same for 1 LP as for up to 5 LPs (the Dutch postal services charges the same amount up to 2KGs) So If you buy more, the shipping costs for your other LP’s are basically for free.
