Description

TRAFFIC - THE LAST EXIT - ORIGINAL UK 1ST PRESS - HIGHLY COLLECTABLE LP

PINK ISLAND BLACK AND ORANGE EYE -

Highly RARE and equally desirable LP. Another superb edition to a collectors "PINK ISLAND" collection!

Lovely rare vinyl that is rarely listed on eBay.

This Vinyl has alot of history behind it, in the fact that it was supposedly Traffic's last ever recording. As the group were about to split, they had smoked enough drugs, sung enough songs..and the legendary Winwood wanted to pursue a solo career.... Well surprise, it wasn't their last recording, Traffic went on to produce more. But that's the reason this is the ultimate collectors item is due to that fact that it was the be all and end all of Traffic (supposedly) It even features a stoned "See you lattterrr" at the end.

THIS RECORD IS THE ULTIMATE "STONED" SOUND OF THE LATE 1960's!! SUPERB

Enough about the album...i'm sure you know lot's about it, so if you're interested then let's move on:

Feel free to read on....(I grade strict - Please see system at the end) Any questions please ask. I ship WORLDWIDE!

Vinyl condition: (Nr.Mint)

Undoubtedly one of the best ever last exit condition vinyl's you could possibly obtain from an open copy

Vinyl has a lovely jet black polished shine. NO Hairlines, NO Scratches, NO Heavy Surface Marks, NO Scuffs.

If you asked me to be critical, I would say occasionally under a light bulb you get the faintest hint or a light mark that you can see at some angles but not others. I get this glimpse of 1 on side A and 1 on side B - Of course this is being highly detailed and critical, they would not downgrade this record at all, and have no bearing on the audio pleasure of this record. - I like to give high amounts of detail. Even glimpse marks!

Pink Island labels..are just flawless.

Cover condition: (VG)

Now..this rough textured cover was always prone to wear, i've seen this from all the ones that have been sold

There is no real exception from mine either. Edgewear generally all round, with 1 slight edge rip on the left edge (so it's quite hard to read the title and artist name)

Front cover displays the odd marks resulting in a tiny bit of colour loss.

Rear cover has a similar mark right in the centre

There is a name, just neatly in the top left hand corner of the rear cover.

Opening the gatefold is like a new copy, just immaculate.

There are no splits or anything real nasty, just the little niggles that I have mentioned. But hey.. I guess these days it's really all about the vinyl quality.

Inner sleeve has a slight tear down the right hand side not all the way down. only about 3 or 4 inches. Easily replaced/repaired

Cover printed by Ernest J Day& Co'

MINT (M.) A brand new record. You CANNOT assign "MINT" to an open record. The vinyl is assumed to be unplayed as it is likely to still be in shrink wrap and never been opened NEAR MINT (NR.MINT) Highest grade I will assign to an open copy. Record is almost near perfect. A barely visible surface mark may be allowed. Light paper marks will be allowed, these are small lines when viewed under a light bulb - These will not effect audio pleasure of record. Vinyl has a lovely jet black shine. Cover and artwork are also near perfection (no heavy rips, splits etc..) Only minor signs of wear are allowed. NO hairline scratches allowed EXCELLENT (EX.) Disc plays near perfect, but may have minor surface marks that shouldn't provoke much effect on audio pleasure. There may be the possibility of a hairline scratch or two. Vinyl is bright and labels are unmarked. Cover may show signs of wear down the edges. There may be hints of slight ringwear, however artwork is clean. VERY GOOD (VG)

Some visible surface wear, and hairline scratches. Labels may have signs of spindle wear. Cover shows signs of wear, creases and fraying may be evident

- Often my records don't ever fall below Excellent (EX)
