Description

Traffic – Mr. Fantasy, 1967
Island Records ILP961, Pink "Eye" Label, Mono
Hand-etched trail-off numbers: ILP 961 A and ILP 961 B

Traffic's first record from 1967 in Mono. Early edition. This is the English release on Island with Pink labels. The laminated cover is in good shape, with some corner wear and a bit of yellowing inside; the spine is not cracked. It has a flip-back cover. The vinyl has some scuffs and several light scratches, but I played it on my high-end Thorens turntable and it sounds GREAT, no significant ticks I could hear. No skips. There is some minor crackling between tracks. Mono recordings like this really hold up well. I have owned this for +/- 40 years and it has been played very little. This is one of the best albums of 1967, up there with Sgt. Peppers and the Piper at the Gates of Dawn.

Cover and vinyl VG+ conservatively
