Now here's a GREAT original from the heartland of British psychedelia! At that time 50 years ago it was a joy to listen to - a true ear-opening experience. Here was a VERY talented young band with 'pedigree', making innovative new sounds for a FANTASTIC resulting LP. Steve Winwood still plays now and proves his wonderful ability as a guitarist, keyboard player and singer - and this historic issue heralded his confident dexterity, as a landmark following his departure from outstanding The Spencer Davis Group.  Nice to find this original issue in such  great condition, these really must be EXTREMELY few and far between - mind-blowing in every respect!

The vinyl is VG+, a great copy. Plays perfectly, sounds great, probably seen barely any play Matrixes end 'A' and 'B2' The ORIGINAL Black/Orange 'globe' matt Pink Labels grade EX condition. The laminated gatefold sleeve card cover grades VG+. A small initial on the A side label.  

Vinyl: VG+.  The ultra heavy vinyl weighs in at an incredible 149 gr.! These earliest Island mono presses are the Rolls Royces of vinyl with incredible built quality. The earliest rough textured labels look great. Although a few shallow hairlines are visible, these do not have any great bearing on the audio because the grooves are just that deep. NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some absolutely MEGA low level background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  

  Gatefold Sleeve: VG.  The 1st Press Gatefold Flipback Laminated MONO Cover is in VERY GOOD used condition!!!!  There is a crease to the front. There is light storage wear to the edges esp on the two spinal corners. The spine is still fully legible. THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
