Records are graded as follows:

MINT:NO damage or defects at all..(A grade I rarely use!!)..Looks like it came out the shop 10 minutes ago!

EX:VERY slight wear either to the cover or the disc..(Looks superb and plays superb)..

VG: maybe a couple of light marks or scuffs to the disc,a couple of pops or a TINY and intermittent crackle..Sleeve with some visible signs of wear but NO real serious defects..(An acceptable copy)..

I would grade this sleeve as EX minus ..The disc visually VG..and play graded as EX minus maybe a bit less.

This is the original MONO first pressing of their classic first album..The sleeve is always tough to find in decent condition..It is of fairly flimsy card and the disc goes in the middle of the gatefold..So the likeliehood of damage is really high..This sleeve is pretty good!...

Issued on Island in 1967..ILP 961..UK pressing... 

The disc has some featherlight lines and light marks to each side..There are NO nasty scratches or scuffs..Overall the disc plays well..It dont skip or jump..There is a little crackle between the tracks and on some of the quieter moments..The second track on side 2 ("Utterly Simple"),does have a few pops......

The labels are undamaged...(They have the textured surface of an original 1967 Island pressing).

The sleeve is laminated and gatefold..There is a little VERY light speckling to the laminate..The top right corner has a couple of light creases (NOT through the colour)..The spine and edges show hardly any rubbing..(These areas are ususally highly prone to damage..The bottom of the spine has a little wear through the colour...The inside of the gatefold (Non laminated) has a little discolouring around the edges..The flipbacks have a little yellowing..There is MINIMAL discshape...All in all pretty clean...

NO seam splits...NO writing..NO rips or tears..NO sellotape or tape marks..
