TRAFFIC, SAME S/T, 1968 STEREO 1st UK PRESS + BOOKLET, RARE PINK ISLAND LP
This record has been vacuum machine cleaned and test played in full on quality hi-fi. My grading is based on the UK record collector grading system. I will gladly combine postage on multiple items so check out my other records. Thanks
DETAILS:- FROM MY OWN PERSONAL COLLECTION - RARE 1968 STEREO 1st UK PRESSING OF TRAFFIC SELF TITLED SECOND ALBUM. THIS IS THE FIRST UK PRESSING IN THE ORIGINAL UNLAMINATED GATEFOLD SLEEVE BY GARRORD & LOFTHOUSE AND COMPLETE WITH THE ATTACHED 8 PAGE BOOKLET STAPLED INSIDE THE GATEFOLD. RELEASED ON THE ORIGINAL PINK ISLAND 'EYE' LABEL, CATALOGUE NO. ILPS 9081T. THE MATRIX ENDINGS ARE A2/B3.

THE VINYL:- VG+ VISUALLY BUT A STRONG EX+ SOUND QUALITY. CLEAN SHINY VINYL WITH A FEW LIGHT SURFACE HAIRLINES THAT ARE NOT AUDIBLE AND DO NOT EFFECT PLAY
THE SLEEVE:- VG. ON THE FRONT THERE IS SOME SCUFFING AND FEATHERED CREASES AT THE TOP AND BOTTOM. ON THE OPENING EDGE THERE'S 3 CIRCULAR CREASES. ON THE BACK NEAR THE ISLAND LOGO AT THE TOP RIGHT THERE IS SOME SMALL HAND WRITING OF A PERSON NAME. THERE'S SOME LIGHT WEAR ON THE BOTTOM EDGES AND A LIITLE LIGHT WEAR ON THE CORNERS. INSIDE THE GATEFOLD IN NICE AND CLEAN AND THE BOOKLET IS MINT. THE SPINE IS CRISP AND FULLY READABLE.
THE LABELS:- VG+. NICE CLEAN LABELS WITH A FEW LIGHT SPINDLE MARKS. ORIGINAL OWNERS NAME HANDWRITTEN ON ONE SIDE

Grading Abbreviations
Grading below is as stated from UK Record Collector. I also use +/- for records that fall somewhere between a grade
Mint (M)
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent (EX)
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG)
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable
Good (G)
The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc
Fair (F)
The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
Poor (P)
The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing
Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
