'S/T'

Warner Brothers, UK, 1976

K56165

FINAL ALBUM from these hard rock legends - with Glenn Hughes guesting on a couple songs and in due course still keeping their musical influences very much in focus. By this time the band has expanded to a four piece with new boys Pete Wright on bass and Rob Kendrick on guitar. So, what you've got is tight, melodic and downright funky with all the twists and turns that you might reasonably expect. The musicianship is super slick and incredibly groovy with the requisite touch of biting hard rock creating a unique push-pull effect. Great tracks include the all time classics 'Star Breaker', 'The Raid' and 'Gimmie Good Love' amongst many others. Some mean riffing on this one.

Immaculate copy.

This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.
