Trees, On the Shore LP. Rare original 1970 UK pressing, CBS orange label, S64168
A cracking LP (as you're no doubt aware) - one of the best from the folk-rock golden period.
This is a top copy. The vinyl is visually NM; retains its new sheen, and displays only a few very light handling marks under a super-bright bulb.
Better still, it plays perfectly - as good as a new LP (better, in fact, than some of the new pressings I have heard of late). I have played it all the way through on my turntable (Rega P9, ZYX Airy 3, into Border Partol amps) and its plays beautifully; no surface noise - no clicks, no pops, nothing. It is also a nice quiet pressing, with no distortion; the sound is clear, crisp and punchy. Its a surprisingly good recording also.
The sleeve sadly has a 'dink' in the top sleeve side corner, some light damage on the top edge, and a label burn on the rear (see pics). Its is still perfectly acceptable, and I would grade it at least VG.
I am not going to indulge in exclamation mark-laden hyperbole. This is a top copy of a rare (and great) LP.
Postage to the UK will be by Special Delivery (I will cover the extra above eBay's max of 4 quid). Overseas at cost - the exact amount to be advised at the auction end. I would estimate £10 to £15 to most European countries and £15 to £20 elsewhere. I will only charge the actual postage cost; I will not charge for packaging.
