The legendary, anthemic and original 1st pressing of this Italian Jazz monster, 'ZAMBONI 22' by Amedeo Tommasi's trio feat. Cicci Santucci & Enzo Scoppa. First album ever by maestro Tommasi accompained by the great Giovanni Tommaso on contrabass and Franco Mondini at the drums with Santucci's trumpet and Scoppa's tenor sax. Outstanding and absolutely revolutionary Jazz session which is considered the first example of Bop and Modal Jazz in Italy. The great Jazz Blues of "BALLATA IN FORMA DI BLUES" is an enchanting theme with Cicci Santucci and Enzo Scoppa solos, "AUTOSTRADA DEL SOLE" is another brilliant Tommasi' Modal composition while "COLTRANE" is an incredible Bop homage to John Coltrane.
