Answer to a prominent ebayer's question about this item: It appears that it was made by the record company as a promotional acetate for radio station use. It has a track of test tones and then 6 John's Children tracks. The 6th track was Midsummer Nights Scene. Now I have all 6 tracks in the listing. Notice that all of these songs were released by TRACK records in the UK.

The back of the disc is shiny shiny black [hard to photograph].  Disc in great shape.  There are some scuffs on the play side, but does not appear scratched.  It should play fine.  Before the tracks there are test tones probably indicating that this was made by the record company for radio promotional play. play. 

There are 6 tracks on the record.  Here are they are:

From a 3000+ John's Children Marc Bolan T.Rex  Vinyl collection WOW!  I would suggest Priority Mail in the US with insurance, and not Media Mail.

John's Children, formerly "The Silence", were a Leatherhead, England 1960s pop-art/mod band featuring future T. Rex frontman Marc Bolan, whose 1967 single "Desdemona" was banned by the BBC for the controversial lyric, "Lift up your skirt and fly". Bolan was with the band for about four months. His main roles were to be the band's composer and play electric guitar (until then, he only played acoustic guitar). His singing voice is sometimes lead in "unofficial" recordings only (demos, BBC radio sessions).

Their manager was Simon Napier-Bell, who devised white stage outfits and an outrageous stage act which included fighting each other and Bolan whipping the stage with a chain.

• Chris Townson: drums / also guitar after Bolan left in June 1967. born Christopher Towwnson, 24 July 1947, in Battersea, South West London died 10 February 2008[1]
• Chris Colville: drums (only at live-appearances), after Bolan left the group, enabling Townson to switch to guitar.
