The super rare ultimate British Jazz LP from the amazing TEMPO label.
TUBBY HAYES - TUBBY'S GROOVE TEMPO TAP 29.
SOME SAY THE RAREST BRITISH JAZZ LP KNOWN TO EXIST, although I think the ones that are unknown to exist may be deemed rarer.
This LP was owned by a renowned Jazz artist who sadly passed away recently and his collection came into my possession. Only problem is, I am not a vinyl man any longer. If I was I would not be parting with it as I spent a good 20 years trying to find this gem without luck.
The detail:
It ain't MINT but it is bloody good for its age - it's certainly been played a lot. Can't really put a Grade on it but if I was forced and wanted to be conservative I would say GOOD to be safe. It looks like a decent player although there are some marks. Visually it looks very good for a classic 50's piece of vinyl, the marks look very inaudible.
The Sleeve is also pretty sound with the gloss on the front still shining. Some signs of wear around the edges but all in all not drastic. The rear also has great gloss levels but it looks like someone has done a little arts and crafts with a blade on the back with a few scores but not deep.
I've tried to be as accurate as I can and I do hope that this finds a good home. Please see the photos. A dealer was very keen to take this off my hands for a very good price but I thought I would chance my luck here instead.
