TUBBY HAYES Tubby's Groove Tempo Brit Jazz LP
Very hard to find British Jazz LP by Tubby Hayes featuring Terry Shannon. Jeff Clyne & Phil Seaman. Tracks featured are Tin Tin Deo, Embers, Like Someone In Love, The Surrey With The Fringe On Top, Sunny Monday & Blue Hayes.
I have played both sides of this record so can comment on the sound quality with accuracy. Record shows signs of use and storage but still plays well with absolutely no serious problems. The cover has some visible storage wear which is more pronounced around the edges with creasing/scuffing and light laminate separation. There is a small missing piece to the back bottom flip back section and a couple of tears and a scuff on the top flip back section. No other serious problems. Record has some visible light scratches and a loss of condition but still plays well and sounds great. There is some light background crackle only really evident in quieter sections and mainly isolated to the last 2 tracks on the first side and at no time is obtrusive . Absolutely no heavy scratches. Side 2 plays through without any trouble and sounds brilliant.
