TWENTIETH CENTURY ZOO "Thunder On A Clear Day" 1968 LP Vault Record Co. (Vault Stereo LP-122)....VINYL: VG+ No skips or pops, with very slight (at most) surface noise noted when test played. Vinyl is thick and rigid (old style) with no warping. There are only a couple of very light scuffs on each side that do not have an effect on the music. Labels are clean, with just a tiny nick or two on the spindle hole edge.....COVER: VG, with light to moderate ringwear and seam scuffing. NO seam splits.....For sale here is a pretty good fuzz/psych LP in pretty good condition!....A fine addition to any psychster's collection....Released in late '68 by this Phoenix AZ band, "Thunder On A Clear Day" treads the line between Cream style fuzz/psych and a more stretched out hard fuzz/blues sound. A swirling and sometimes spooky Hammond is also featured prominently on the album to help thicken and sweeten the stew! "Quiet Before The Storm", "Rainbow" and "It's All In My Head" are particular standout tracks.... GRADING: For grading vinyl, I try to follow GOLDMINE Magazine criteria.
