Description

The doctors have told me my prognosis is poor. I own thousands of MINT and SEALED Records that are a collection I lovingly assembled, but my wife does not listen to Records so I want to sell my collection.

These two twelve inch 78 RPMs were gifts assembled by RCA and autographed by Toscanini. One has Toscanini's signature and the other he signed over to Gerhard Herz the deceased Professor of Music History at Louisville University. Each is one-sided with a special RCA imprint on the back as shown in a picture below and each has Wagner's music. Clearly, they are limited edition Christmas Presents. Being 78's you can expect some white noise and a few tics, but we were surprised at how well these 1941 and 1942 78's sounded. These are extremely valuable records, but we do not wish to go through the process of putting them up for sale at an auction house. We obtained them from Gerhard Herz's estate when he passed on. The personal nature of the autographs is obvious when you see them live.
