Description

Here are two rare Challenge 78's #802 and #804 recorded in 1927. The band is Madlyn Davis and her Red Hot Shakers under the pseudonym  The Cafe Royal Boys. The are featured on one side of each record with the tunes Hurry Sundown and Landlady's Footsteps. The other sides feature unknown bands. These were also released on the Paramount label. The pianist is Cassino Simpson. Very interesting early country style rustic blues. Condition for #802 is V+, #804 is V, both play well.  Media mail shipping in the USA will be $4.00.
