Description
"PORTRAIT OF A GAMBLER" (Life / Love)... Try Angle Records..Recorded 1968 at TWO: DOT STUDIO'S; Ojai, California ...7" EP with gatefold cover...Only 50 were Pressed....VINYL: EX+....LABELS: M-....COVER: VG+ (opens from inside. General wear)...This Very RARE recording is extremely hard to find. This was recorded at TWO: DOT Studios in Ojai California 1968. At that time Two: Dot didn't have their own label, so the band released this on their own Try Angle records. PORTRAIT OF A GAMBLER is the band name. On the label it only says LIFE / LOVE...Excellent recording quality. The whole thing appears to be a concept piece about nature and time. Song Titles: "Cellophane Waterfall", "A Gambler With Time", "Thoughts in Music", "Real". Some nice lead guitar. Trippy, melodic well conceived music. This is not country music at all. Recorded out in Ojai California at DEAN THOMPSONS TWO: DOT STUDIO'S. (which was a converted garage out in an Orange Grove. Hendrickson Roadhouse and Arthur (Gee) were recorded at this same location......"PORTRAIT OF A GAMBLER" .............................RARE !!!
