TYBURN TALL was founded in 1969 in Speyer/ Germany and played progressive rock with classical influences. The instrumentation was organ, piano, guitar, bass, drums and vocals. Some of the musicians as the keyboarder and the bassman had absolvated a classical training. After many successful gigs, among these as opener for 'Golden Earring' and 'Renaissance', the band decided to record an own vinyl. This self-titled LP was released on the small label LUTZ & KERN in an edition of 200 copies. Unfortunately more than half of the records were destroyed in a fire in the music shop Markus in Speyer. Beside this and due to the brilliance of its music today this LP belongs to the most sought after German Prog-Rock LPs. For original LP will be paid up to € 2.500. This 2004 limited and official reissue which is out of print now, has a wonderful gatefold cover and pressed on 180 gram vinyl.
