TYRANNOSAURUS REX - " PROPHETS, SEERS & SAGES THE ANGELS OF THE AGES " , Regal Zonophone/EMI Records (LRZ 1005), Mono, 1968.
Very rare 1968 original UK, first press Regal Zonophone Mono LP.
English issue and pressing.
Original textured flipback sleeve, also includes original lyric insert - see photo
Professionally cleaned on my Moth record cleaning machine and then put in a fresh new poly-lined inner sleeve.
As this LP will obviously reach a good final selling price, I will start the auction 99p to get things moving.
CONDITION:
VINYL = EXCELLENT (No scratches, no groove damage, only light spindle trails, no excessive surface noise, etc. Under a bright grading lamp I can make out a few faint paper scuffs and one or two hairline marks only just visible on the vinyl's surface - but none of these correspond directly to any audible defects. On playback, there is some very faint surface noise just audibile during the silent run-in before any music starts. However, once the music starts, it plays perfectly - free from interuption from distortion, clicks, pops, surface noise, etc.
Whilst falling short of untouched "museum piece" status, this is a great honest copy of fabulous LP that would be perfect for anyone looking to play and enjoy it as it it was originally intended. Way better than any sterile, remastered CD!
Note: for the purposes of this listing I have tested this LP on my Linn LP12 Sondek turntable - generally this is quite a critical test, but I must point out that I cannot guarantee exactly how this LP will sound on your turntable - common sense for most... but then this is ebay!!!)
SLEEVE = EXCELLENT- (Generally pretty good. No serious damage - no rips, tears, big creases, defacing, etc. Being both black textured, it does show the light wear it has pretty clearly - in this case just a bit of wear to the corners and on the front on some of the raised parts of the textured sleeve. There are also a couple of faint marks/scuffs on the rear. Overall a good honest example of 44 year old record sleeve that has been used but well cared for - see photos for further clarification)

Unlike so many of the jokers now selling records on ebay, we know how to grade records.
