Description

For auction an extremely rare copy of Tyrannosaurus Rex's 1969 single "Pewter Suitor/Warlord Of The Royal Crocodiles" in the hardly ever seen Dutch release of the disc on Stateside. While the French version of this song sometimes appears this version from Holland is far rarer. Pewter Suitor was a stand alone single by the group and was not included on the album Unicorn.
The disc is in terrific condition. Genuinely excellent, there are some hairlines but absolutely nothing sinister. The vinyl is still dark and glossy, the labels proudly deep black and silver and free from rips, writing or stickers. The few European copies of this I have seen never have their push-out centres intact. This one does. The 45 even comes in its beautiful original full colour EMI/Stateside sleeve advertising other acts of the period. All in all this is remarkable condition for a record almost half a century old. It is unlikely that another copy like this will surface any time soon.
