Up for auction is a great vinyl copy of TYRANNOSAURUS REX second album 'Prophets, Seers & Sages The Angels Of The Ages' originally released in the UK in October 1968 on REGAL ZONOPHONE / A COMPANY OF THE EMI GROUP (cat. no. LRZ 1005). This MONO 1st pressing on the beautiful silver & red REGAL ZONOPHONE label is in EXCELLENT condition & a rare find these days! This rare UK 1st pressing is in amazing condition!
The original textured 1st pressing SLEEVE is in EXCELLENT- condition. The original tri-flipback Garrod & Lofthouse SLEEVE only displays a bit of shelf-wear towards the spine and a hint of ringwear to the right hand side of the front panel – nothing serious though and it does not detract from the fine SLEEVE in any way! I'm very picky here! The flimsy SLEEVE is still jet black, the three flip-backs are in great condition and completely intact! The SLEEVE shows NO unwanted writing, NO seam splits, NO sticker marks, NO major creasing, etc.! The SLEEVE comes with it's original double-sided lyric INNER SHEET which is still in NEAR MINT condition!
Both sides of the MONO vinyl RECORD are in EXCELLENT- condition, mirror-like and with a number of superficial marks only, that won't interfere with the music! PLAYBACK of this TYRANNOSAURUS REX classic is just amazing! Very dynamic & fresh! I will therefore grade the RECORDS' PLAYBACK as EXCELLENT++ for both sides! I stick to the 'RECORD COLLECTOR' grading system (please see below).
The two beautiful silver & red REGAL ZONOPHONE LABELS are in EXCELLENT condition, there are hardly any spidermarks visible on either side of the spindle-hole!

The album will be mailed to the lucky winner in a stiff cardboard record box with extra cardboard stiffeners for best possible protection during transport! The experience and fun of buying records on eBay is ruined if you discover that – once the album arrives – they are either not in the condition stated or have been damaged in the post! For this reason I try to describe all my items in detail, and only post using strong sturdy packaging. Please see my excellent feedback especially in terms of packaging! My records are also from a smoke- and pet-free home.

MINT: The Record Itself Is In Brand New Condition With No Surface Marks Or Deterioration In Sound Quality. The Cover And Any Extra Items Such As The Lyric Sheet, Booklet Or Poster Are In Perfect Condition. Records Advertised, As Sealed Or Unplayed Should Be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The Record Shows Some Signs Of Having Been Played, But There Is Very Little Lessening In Sound Quality. The Cover And Packaging Might Have Slight Wear And / Or Creasing.
VERY GOOD: The Record Has Obviously Been Played Many Times, But Displays No Major Deterioration In Sound Quality, Despite Noticeable Surface Marks And The Occasional Light Scratch. Normal Wear And Tear On The Cover Or Extra Items, Without Any Major Defects, Is Acceptable.
