This is the mono issue of the third album by Tyrannosaurus Rex, with Marc Bolan and Steve Peregrin Took and usually impossible to source. Produced by Tony Visconti, the album also features John Peel reading a fantasy tale. This is a very rare opportunity to obtain this album, especially at this low start price.

Sleeve description:  Ernest J. Day  gatefold sleeve, with laminated front and back, critically graded as very good + condition and very close to a higher grading.  This is in amazing shape for a 40 year old cover! Fully intact; no tears or splits. Clear text along spine. Barely any edge wear or ring wear.  There is marking along the open edges where the laminate finishes short of the edge. Inside the gatefold, there is barely any marking. The laminate is just slightly opening up on the spine. The lyrics are printed inside the gatefold. Overall, very impressive!

Inner sleeve:  White paper inner, believed to be original. Has marking and staining so will also include replacement, if this is buyer's preference.

Vinyl description:  Visually graded as very good condition. The vinyl appears very impressive in normal light but the inspection light reveals a lot of light surface marks and hairlines. This record has been played and enjoyed!

Audio description:  Both sides have been played and are graded as very good.  Side 1 does have some light static and also two series of clicks. Side 2 has some light static traces. One small pop noted and one skip. It is important to note that this is a long LP and the flaws noted do not affect the majority of the listening experience.  Musically, a revelation!

Labels: Very good; little wear and crazing around spindle holes.
