Description
Tadd Dameron ( with John Coltrane, John Simmons, Philly Joe Jones) MATING CALL Prestige 7247, recorded 1956. Stereo remaster. Silver-and-black label—should be first for this particular issue. Bergenfield address on label and jacket. Red rubber stamp “RW on reverse in large type-size. Fake stereo is a ridiculous gimmick, but man does (one channel) of this record sound good! M- for play grade. Jacket is NM and actually better than that. Handsome!
Here’s the twelfth of about 50 batches of records from a fastidious NY-area collector with excellent taste. One owner since release in most cases. Very many of these were played either very little or very carefully. They’ve been carefully play-graded as well. Low starts, as you can see, and almost no reserves. Bid with confidence. Combined shipping available within reason. I realize these are about the worst photos ever; let me know if there's something you need to see but can't.
