Description

Tadd Dameron (with Clifford Brown, Idrees Sulieman, Oscar Estell, Gigi Gryce, Benny Golson, Philly Joe Jones, Percy Heath, Herb Mullins) A STUDY IN DAMERONIA Prestige LP 159, recorded 1953. Silver-and-blue original label.  446 West 50th Street address. Deep Groove. Jacket has been clear-taped on edges and across entire back, but it is a very smooth, cleanly-done job.  Glossy finish covers a fairly yellowed back cover. Jacket rated as “E”  Disc plays VG/VG+:  A typically noisy Prestige pressing to start with, and it’s been played much and lived in jacket with no sleeve. It does play better than it looks.
