TALKING HEADS | Speaking In Tongues US Ltd. Ed. Robert Rauschenberg Cover
Sire Records [1-23771] • 1983
This is the limited edition "Speaking In Tongues" with the cover designed by artist Robert Rauschenberg that was released in an edition of 50,000 once in 1983, when the album came out. I bought this new in the original shrink wrap, which has been opened on one end. The remaining shrink wrap covers 80% of the album, and it still has its original sticker. The record is pressed in clear vinyl and has never been played. The clear plastic case has, 31 years later, yellowed with age. The record is on a spindle with three circular color transparencies of images selected by Rauschenberg. The transparency discs rotate freely on the spindle so that the three colors [cyan, magenta, yellow] on each align to make each image full color - just not at the same time. Tracks included are:

Condition: Record: M / Sleeve: VG+ • Disc is unplayed. Shrink wrap has been opened on one end. The original ABS plastic case has yellowed with age.
