This album has now become one of the most desirable Australian Progressive Rock LPs of all time.From the Paul Witzig film Evolution released in 1969, this was Tamam Shud's first album.Released on the CBS label the back cover features the small orange and black Evolution film poster. Evolving in 1967 out of a series of bands that had developed a cult following along the New South Wales coastline in Australia, Tamam Shud was led by Lindsay Bjerre (vocals/guitar) and originally also featured Peter Barron (bass), Dannie Davidson (drums) and Alex ‘Zac’ Zytnik (guitar). The unit took up the mantle of a progressive blues-based concert band, renowned for performing long instrumentals. Initially adopted by the burgeoning psychedelic and drug scene, their popularity rapidly took in the surfing fraternity and the college circuit.

There are some light spindle marks on labels. Record has some scuff marks and a few very light scratches. There are some light crackles in parts mostly noticeable between tracks. Record is in VG+ condition. Cover has some light age spots and marks on back cover and a small name written on back top left. There is a light sticky tape stain along bottom edge. All seams are fully intact and front gloss cover looks great. There are also a few tiny surface tear around back edges. Cover is in VG++ condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
Post methods within Australia: All records are posted via Australia Post. Within Australia all items come with a tracking number.
Post method for overseas: All parcels are sent via Australia Post and are sent on a standard airmail service. There are no tracking numbers on these items. If you require a tracking number the item will have to be sent as an insured item which incurs a further postage fee.
