Description

This is the 1961 Tamla Records release of the Tamla / Motown Special #1  This is a various Motown artists compilation Lp and features Barrett Strong, Sammy Ward, Sherri Taylor, Mary Wells and The Miracles - Tamla Records number 224.  This is on the Original Deep Groove White Tamla Label.  The Cover is in VG++ condition and would be graded higher but there is very light rub wear on the black portion of the front cover which can be see when tilted in light.  The back cover has some very light rub wear on a few of the pictures, most notably the Sammy Ward pic, but it appears much better in person than what the picture shows.  The record is in VG- condition and is Not trashed, but again, when tilted in light it has light marks that warrant this grade and not higher.  The album plays very nicely.  Shipping in the U.S. is $5.25 and if you win more than one auction I will calculate to save on shipping.
