Vinyl : EX-/VG++ Visually lovely copy but there are a few isolated pops and light crackle here and there. Hence I would put this as between an excellent minus and very good plus plus. Labels are clean. Nice vinyl.
Original Inner Sleeve: VG+
Thin polythene as shown.
Gatefold Sleeve: VG-
The outside of the sleeve is laminated and clean with very minor creasing at a couple of corners. The matt finish inside of the sleeve is clean apart from a rubbing blemish as shown (see pic)...hence the very good minus rating. A shame because otherwise the sleeve is excellent for its age.
ALL IN ALL A VERY NICE COPY OF A RARE LP!
Grading based on following guides:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
