This is a very sought after collectable classical recording double album boxed set pressed in 1959. This set is as MINT as they come.
A true delight for ballet fans and music-lovers, this recording of Tchaikovsky’s most popular ballet, Swan Lake, by Ernest Ansermet and the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande is a masterly performance. This double LP, although not a complete recording, comprises the most beautiful and expressive scenes and captures both the tragic moments of the fairy tale and the festive dance scenes.
The records are both in MINT condition with high gloss and no spindle wear. They have been played only three times on my Linn Sondek turntable. I purchased it in the 70's sealed from an estate sale and am the original owner. The insert booklet is intact with no tears or damage to it. The cover is almost perfect with only slight scuff marks on the edges from storage. Front shows relection from camera light and it not discolored whatsoever.
