Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto Rabin Aust Columbia 330CX

Michael Rabin with the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Alceo Galliera performs the Tchaikovsky “Violin Concerto”. An Australian mono pressing on the Columbia Label (33OCX 1422), the labels are dark blue with gold lettering. The record is of very good appearance with a few minor scuffs only and it plays and sounds superb - the recording is excellent and the playing sublime - and the sound on this Australian pressing is excellent. There is some clicking and crackle at the start of sides – otherwise surface noise is mainly low-level. The cover has rubbed with a ring and some small creases.

All my records are visually checked under a strong light and play tested - extensively if any doubt as to condition. I take pride in making my descriptions as accurate as possible. View my other auctions more English and rare Classical Records.
