Description
Up for grabs is this limited edition vinyl copy of Tears for Fears - Songs from the Big Chair by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab. The original bag, catalog insert, and inner sleeve are included. The cover is in good condition with minor wear and a split on the inside of the gatefold (no splits on the outside).
The problem with this copy is the vinyl itself, which I think may be defective. I wasn't able to get it visible on camera, but from what I could see when putting it up to the light, there is some noticeable surface wear on both sides. Side one has some tiny horizontal scratches at the beginning and side two has one long light scratch at the beginning.
This copy was recently play tested in various places on both sides. There is some bad skipping in the song Shout and on other tracks there was some skipping every now and then even though there's no scratches in those parts (which is what makes me think it may be defective). Side two did not skip at all from what I tried, but I can't fully guarantee it. There is noticeable noise and crackling when playing the very beginning of both sides.
Sold AS-IS, no returns.
