Teddy Charles Word from bird w.A.Farmer-E.Bert Atlantic black DG   Teddy Charles  ' Word from bird '  ATLANTIC 1274 (USA) mono black label with deep groove - rec. in October-November 1956 - issued in 1957   Teddy Charles : vibes - Art Farmer : trumpet - Eddie Bert : trombone - Don Butterfield : tuba - Hal Stein : alto sax - Robert Newman : tenor sax - George Barrow : baritone sax - Hal Overton : piano - Jimmy Raney : guitar - Addison Farmer or Charlie Mingus : bass - Ed Shaughnessy : drums   Side 1 :  Word from bird  -  Laura  -  Show time Side 2 :  When your lover has gone  -  Just one of those thing  -  Blue greens   Visual grading : record is VG+ full lustre has light wear and some unfeelable surface marks visible on both sides. Clean labels with light spindle wear  Playing grading : record is VG to VG+ plays with loud and clear sound. Has some light occasional background noise on both sides mostly due to the low quality of the old vinyl. Has some light occasional ticks and pops. On second track of side 1 has 10 light repeated ticks Cover grading : cover is VG+ has wear to corners. Spine has all titles readable, Top left corner and bottom right corner are lightly bumped. A tiny piece of lamination is missing on front bottom left corner. Back cover has light rubbing and has some tiny stains on bottom right corner
