Description
Up for bid is an extremely rare piece of punk history, the first release on the prolific Dischord label, the Teen Idles "Minor Disturbance EP." The copy offered is a first pressing of this 7 inch, featuring the heavier, glossy sleeve and white labels. Also included is the original 11" x 17" insert with band photos, song lyrics and a list of the clubs that the Teen Idles were banned from playing. This pressing was limited to only 1000 copies. Etched in the dead wax on Side 1 and 2 respectively is "Wherever we may roam" / "Georgetown is our home."
The vinyl is in beautiful NM- condition. The playback is crisp and clean with no flaws. The insert is NM, looking as the day it was first purchased. The sleeve is NM-, as for very some light scratches and light signs of wear around the edges, but there is no splitting (these scratches are common on the glossy, unvarnished sleeve of the original pressing.) There is some light creasing at the edges that appears to be from assembly of the sleeves. Some of the glue that held the sleeve together has dried up, but is not noticeable and has no aesthetic effect on the sleeve. This is an all around beautiful copy of an extremely rare and significant record.

The vinyl will be shipped in a poly-lined paper sleeve outside of the picture sleeve to ensure that there is no damage due to shifting during shipment.
