Description
This is the 2018 2xLP Waxwork Records pressing of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1990 movie soundtrack by John Du Prez. This is the “Raphael” variant pressed on solid red & green marbled vinyl.
The album is housed in a heavyweight old-style tip on gatefold jacket with original artwork by Kevin Eastman (co-creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles). The jacket contains an inlay with more artwork and a large postcard featuring artwork from the 1990 movie. The jacket comes with the original protective outer sleeve with the original hype sticker.
The album has been cleaned on a VPI HW-16.5 Record Cleaning Machine.
The item will be shipped in a proper record mailer with the records outside of the jacket to prevent seam splits.
Item Condition:
Jacket = NM-
There are no seam splits and all four corners are sharp. There is a very slight indent on the top edge of the front cover; this is hard to see, but can be felt. Overall, the jacket looks very nice.
Record (Side A/B) = VG
There are some scuff marks on the 1st track of side A that are not audible. There is a scratch/scuff on the 2nd track of side B that produces a “tick” for about 10 revolutions. While noticeable, these “ticks” are not overwhelming and the record sounds very good otherwise. The record is not warped.
Record (Side C/D) = NM-
The record is very clean overall and is not warped.
Inlay = NM-
The inlay looks very nice and all four corners are sharp. There are some light marks on the blank (non-artwork) side of the inlay.
Postcard = NM-
The postcard looks very nice and all four corners are sharp.
