1st US press of Television's stunning debut 'Marquee Moon'.   Vinyl grades visually as EX with a few minor surface hairline wisps, but will list as VG+ due to occasional static for the first 10-15 seconds of each side.   Sounds like a non-fill issue, but subsides and not audible after that.   Other than those instances the play-grade on everything except the first 10-15 seconds of each side is EX with terrific and powerful sound.   Songs like Friction and Marquee Moon practically leap out of my B&W speakers.  Reissues have never quite captured the sound of the first pressing.   Hard to find pressing and one of the most profound and influential debut albums in rock history.   Cover is VG+ - see notes and pics.

Under bright light, appears unplayed or only played with great care and looks new.   Only the very finest examples make this grade.  Should be void of scratches.   

EXC

Under bright light, may have one or two slight, but visible imperfections (i.e. sleeve scuffs, faint ‘hairline’ scratches, or other superficial marks) that will not affect play.  Overall, very clean.   May play as good as a Near Mint record, but visibly has minor imperfections.

VG+

Several visible imperfections. Has seen more wear and play than the higher grades, but still overall a very nice record. May have sleeve light unfeel-able scratches, or other superficial marks.  

VG

I only list VG records if a very rare record.  VG will show signs of improper care and will possibly have some deeper, feel-able scratch(es) that makes audible noise upon playback.  Generally meant to be either a starter copy or purchased to get a sense of sound quality of a particular pressing.  While most vinyl has some audible surface noise in between songs and during quieter passages, a VG record will likely consistently have noticeable background noise during songs.   All this said, a VG record should not have a repeating skip in the record.
