Description

Here is a 12” VINYL LP by Tom Verlaine and his merry band of misanthropes, TELEVISION.

It is on the Elektra “Butterfly” label, number K52046.

IT IS REMARKABLY CLEAN AND TIDY and has the Black And White printed inner sleeve and is the rare version with quotation marks around the title..

There is a very very very tiny blemish on the back of the sleeve (see close-up with filthy finger) which don't amount to a hill o' beans and I'm only mentioning it because I am a scrupulously honest sort of cove.

The disc is as clean as a joke on Children's Hour and plays VERY well.

This isn’t the sort of stuff I usually list here, (I can’t actually remember buying it. I blame the drink and the drugs... not enough of either..) so I asked my dear friend Mr Diz Cogz about it and he said “Printed By Shorewood Packaging. Lacquer Cut By Allen Landau. Mixed By Andy Johns.

First UK release with quotation marks around title.

First pressing released with the "butterfly" design on labels and a thick printed lyrics liner. Made in UK

Matrix / Runout (Side A, Runout, Etched): K-52046 A-1 AL

Matrix / Runout (Side B, Runout, Etched): K-52046 B-2 ALLEN

Well, there you are then.

Here’s yer track listing:

See No Evil

Venus

Friction

Marquee Moon

Elevation

Guiding Light

Prove It

Torn Curtain

I am not a dealer.

I am just an old bloke thinning out his lifetime collection of STUFF before the floor collapses.

I'm selling most of this stuff for much less than I paid for it.

What a great business plan (I don't think)!

The LP in the photograph is the LP you will get.

I have described the item to the best of my ability, and everything looks in splendid condition to me.

Please check the photographs to decide for yourself.

PAYPAL only Please.

NO OVERSEAS bidders please.

And NO OVERSEAS bidders using UK addresses please.

I am a simple sort, and I want my buyers to be happy. If there is any kind of problem, I like to sort it out personally. I can’t do this if you’re thousands of miles away!
