Tenjosajiki: “Hatsukoi Jigoku Hen” (Tenjosajiki Records – TENJ-99001) An extremely RARE psychedelic gem from legendary poet/novelist/director/nutcase Terayama Shuji. This is a private pressing on Terayama's Tenjosajiki label. The record is a soundtrack to his film of the same name: "Volume of First Love HELL." Will appeal to fans of outsider folk, Japanese psychedelia, and weird records. Has lots of spoken word passages and guest vocals from Carmen Maki of Blues Creation. INCREDIBLE packaging: Gatefold jacket that opens on more pages that fold out into three leaves. Includes complete narration (in japanese of course), staff credits and long biographies of Terayama and others. Also has pictures of Terayama Shuji, Carmen Maki and nude pictures on outside and inside jacket of the main actor and actress from the film. This record rarely surfaces and is in phenomenal condition, a real find. Looks like someone had it in their closet for a very long time and never played it. Complete with original obi.
