Labels are good with only a couple of light spider markings.
I have for sale a copy of the Fabulous Terrorvision "How to Make Friends and Influence People" on vinyl. This album is quite hard to find and sought after on vinyl and even more difficult to get in absolutely pristine condition. This one is quite good but not pristine. I am quite fussy about vinyl pressings and try to be as accurate as possible about describing condition for other collectors. (Some people have an unusual idea of very good).
The cover of this one is quite good. It has the silver foil gatefold cover (some did not). The silver foil is delicate especially at the edges and flakes off as is the case with this one in various places along all edges. Front face is good, the rear face has some minor marks/indentations and a very small crease in the corner. Internal faces are good.
The Card Inner sleeve is very good.
The Vinyl itself has been played through completely using a very high quality Clearaudio cartridge. The sound quality throughout was very good with only minimal background in places. The worst spot was on Some people Say where there were a few audible crackles due a few fine surface marks on the vinyl. No nasty pops clicks or jumps. There were a few background crackles in places, mainly due to the generally poor 1990's pressings as nearly everyone bought CD's. Different Cartridges/phono pre amps will make a difference to playback (crackles/ surface noise) of any vinyl. Visually the vinyl has a fine patina of surface marks almost certainly from the hard cardboard sleeve the album originally came in and a few surface marks on Some people say as previously stated.
