Terry Reid ORIG US LP Rogue waves EX ’78 Capitol SW11857 Hard Rock
Original US LP released in 1979 on Capitol Records. Cat: SW11857. Comes with printed inner bag which is in VG+ condition.When this album came out, in the middle of the punk and disco booms, it seemed like a breath of fresh air, a stomping mix of heavy metal and soul, filled with engaging originals by Reid and spiced by heavy-handed but bracing versions of harmony-based numbers like "Baby I Love You," "Then I Kissed Her," "Walk Away Renee," and "All I Have To Do Is Dream." Doug Rodrigues and Reid share guitar chores, and the best parts of their playing are the softest moments. The backing vocals by Denise Williams, Dyanne Chandler, and Maxine Willard are often ravishing, and Reid's singing is as powerful as ever.

There are a few very light spindle marks on labels and a pencil mark on A-side of label. Record has a few light scuff marks that cause a few light crackles and is in Excellent condition. Cover has light ring wear, light scuffing on corners and a few tiny surface tears around edges and is in VG+ condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
Post methods within Australia: All records are posted via Australia Post. Within Australia all items come with a tracking number.
Post method for overseas: All parcels are sent via Australia Post and are sent on a standard airmail service. There are no tracking numbers on these items. If you require a tracking number the item will have to be sent as an insured item which incurs a further postage fee.
