Description

Having been a fan of Anton Newcombe and the BJM for many years my interest was tweaked when Tess recently released her second album in conjunction with Anton. I always like to start by buying an artist's first work and then go from there. From the album cover, (with a rug in the background that I own and obviously the enticing Tess Parks ) the opening few bars of Somedays and Tess' stoned immaculate vocals, I was hooked within 30 seconds. Any fans of the Velvets, Spacemen 3, Nico, BJM, Cheval Sombre and anyone else with a hazy, drugged up, stripped down sound should buy this and her second album without hesitation. They are both right up there in the cannon of opiated treasures. I say again buy them both without hesitation. (Amazon Review)
