Test Pressing – ASD 326 – R.STRAUSS: DON QUIXOTE – KEMPE / TORTELIER
2 single-sided HMV white label stereo test pressings made in England (see photos). Issued in 1965 catalogue number ASD 326; Rudolf Kempe conducting the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra - RICHARD STRAUSS’s Till Eulenspiegel and Don Quixote, Op.35, with soloists Paul Tortelier (cello), Giusto Cappone (viola), Siegfried Borries (violin).
The 2 sides are clean and shiny with no visible marks; we have not played them. The commercial sleeve is intact with some edge/corner wear. Grubby marks on rear and "Don Q. 42 mins" in ink on rear.
