Description
This is a white label, 180gm test pressing, black double-vinyl copy of Garbage's second album "Version 2.0", first released in 1998 and then re-issued the following year in on the Simply Vinyl record label (SVLP 140). It comes housed in a custom sleeve with the catalogue number hand written on the sleeve in black marker pen.
It is my understanding that there are only 10 test pressings ever made of each record and that they are only given to the label and mastering facility for quality control purposes. Some are then sent to shops as promotional copies. I won this record in 1999 in a competition in the long defunct record collector magazine, Record Mart and Buyer.
It has never been played and has only been taken out of its cover for me to take the photographs you see above.
