Description
Texas-Louisiana (Highway 51 H-103). Limited-edition UK LP of the mid/late-’60s, reissuing rare postwar (late ’40s/early ’50s) blues sides by Lonnie Williams (2), Frankie Lee Sims (2), Alex Moore (2), Sam "Suitcase" Johnson (1), Black Diamond (1), Lil' Son Jackson (3), Country Jim (2) and Jesse Thomas (3) – an excellent selection of what were then (and most of which may still be) major-league rarities. In accordance with UK copyright law at the time, this release was pressed in an edition of only 99 copies.
Condition: a very fine copy, probably played no more than 2-3 times. Disc was a slightly streaky pressing but has no signs of wear or damage. Jacket is slightly creased at one corner but otherwise almost as new.
