Description

This is the original deep groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of Thad Jones “The Magnificent” on the Lexington Avenue labels of Blue Note BLP 1527.  The flat rim playing surface is in virtually new condition, with just normal light storage splotching; beautiful luster; possibly unused.  Similarly, the coated frame Lexington Ave. cover is in amazing virtually new condition – immaculate throughout, with sharp corners and unworn seams.  Personnel include Billy Mitchell, Barry Harris, Percy Heath, and Max Roach.  $1000.00
