~~~Catch That Teardrop~~~

This 1962 record plays and sounds great on both sides with some light static in the background but no skipping or repeats. Reference shows this to be the first release of "Catch That Teardrop" as #243 and was re-released as #257. This was the next to the last record the 5 Royales produced on Home Of The Blues. Surface of the record itself is in excellent shape with only minimal to light scratches. The label has some slight discoloration or smudging but has no markings on either side .

These records I am listing are from a huge collection I bought in 2006 while working in New Orleans during the aftermath of Katrina. I had purchased them from a New Orleans collector who was trying to rebuild his life. When I purchased these, my plans were to keep many of them and sell the remainder in our antique shop. Due to health reasons, we decided to close our shop and I am just now beginning to list them. Be sure to watch for future listings of the records. There are some old Sun Records and many labels which I do not recognize.

• PAYMENT: Payment is due within 7 days of close of auction. PayPal, personal check, or money order is acceptable for payment. Depending on buyer feedback, item may be held to allow check to clear the bank. Buyer must make contact within 7 days of close of auction. If not contacted within this time, item can be re-listed.
• SHIPPING FEES: We will gladly combine auctions in order to save shipping fees. Shipping charges for this item will be $3.95 for First Class Mail, which does not include insurance. Insurance is optional.
• MOST IMPORTANT: We always package items safely, usually double boxing with glass items. Once your package has been shipped, we can no longer be responsible for the safety of the item. Insurance is highly recommended. However, if you choose not to insure the item it is not possible to get you money reimbursed. If you choose to insure and item arrives damaged, it is your responsibility to file any claims directly with the shipping service. We will be of whatever assistance we can to assist, but the process of filing with the shipper is for you to handle.
• RETURNS: Items may be returned within seven (7) days of receiving if the merchandise has a major distortion in the description. Returns will not be accepted without prior authorization. We do not refund shipping and handling fees.
