.Most are a better grade than listed at, but to satisfy purists,am going to use this grade(VG) most of the time and let you decide.That is why I show the vinyl from both sides,and don't just put in a sleeve
Good copy. Being honest, almost all records VG+ and lower have some "scuff marks" on the vinyl.This is a fact of life that I am sure all are aware of.I grade more on sound,then secondly,label appearance. Not all systems will play exactly the same, so from time to time a record you buy from anyone may not be exactly as you imagined it.This too, is just a fact of life.When I say "good copy" am referring to the sound MY system produces, and I use no filters.Nice sound,no background noise means that I cannot hear it.If you set your system(or any system)to full treble with minimum base,you will hear whispers even on virgin vinyl. Full clarity is best when a system is used with the proper mix,of course. That said, I will leave this in place for any future customers to consider when buying used records. While MOST of mine come from radio stations and jukebox companies, I also from time to time buy from private sellers, and not all take good care of them.And then there are some DJ's ...lol . One more thing, as people have been asking again. A drilled(or holed copy)are what the record labels would send as extra copies for stations. This was to mark them as free
