The Alarm - Standards 7” Promo Box Set

Released in 1990 this 6 x 7" Single box set was issued as a Promotional release to promote the Alarm's Singles Album - Standards. Each single as far as I am aware has only been played once (by me to check they ok!) and are in Near Mint Condition. The box though is a little squashed. Each single comes in a Black Generic sleeve. The Reverse of the box has a 'Gut Reaction’ sticker on it, which I can only assume is the predecessor to Guy Holmes' Gut Records, he was either the recipient or was sending them out...

Record NM Sleeve VG Notes All the records play absolutely fine. The box as mentioned is a little squashed and creased because of it - please see pictures. The generic sleeves are all in Excellent condition bar one which has a bit of fraying on the opening - maybe this one has been played more than once!



I’m having a bit of a clearout, our collection of Vinyl, CD’s, DVD's & Memorabilia has been hidden away and hasn’t been used for as long as I can remember and so it’s time to let it go to somebody who may get a little more enjoyment from it.

I have checked each item, and played each item (some of it has been played (at least by me) for the first time ever) to check for skips etc, Grading the condition of records/CD’s is not an exact science, I have used the DISCOGS gradings method as a guide but have tried to describe the items fully and capture all of the flaws in the photographs - please give them a good old look over.

Most of these items are old, and so you can always expect a few crackles (before & between tracks) & pops on the vinyl, but I will point out in the listing if there is anything more than that.

UK Buyers


For ‘Buy it Now’ items, Shipping is Free, for most Auctions I have added the postage charge only (packaging is Free!!). I will generally send the items 2nd Class Recorded, but will be flexible depending on your requirements.


I will combine postage - the more you buy - the cheaper it will work out! You can have up to 2KG of stuff for Postage charge of £4.10, and if you’ve got a Buy it Now item with Free Postage - you can have up to 2KG for FREE Postage! :)
