Description

This is a copy of the rare vinyl LP Spivey Records Presents The Art Of Screamin' Jay Hawkins,  USA issue from 1988, on Spivey LP 1036. Spivey Records was owned by the legendary 1920s classic blues singer Victoria Spivey. The album was recorded in New York City with Hawkins on vocals and piano backed by Wahboard Doc on washboard, frying pans and cowbell, John "Flash" Whitner on one string bass, Cab Lucky rhythm guitar and Nat Riddles on harmonica.

The tracks are  1.  Let Your Love, Little Darlin!, Come Back To Me  2.  It Took Your Kind Of Lovve  3.  Love Nobody But Me  4.  In My Dream  5.  Furburger (Instr.)  6. I Want To Do It In A CAVE

The vinyl, cover and inner sleeve are all in Near Mint condition. I bought this new in 1989 and have only played it 3 or 4 times. The front and back cover have paste on labels and there is some faint wrinkling to the front label.
