The BEACH BOYS 1st 45 Release - Surfin b/w Luau on Candix Records # 301 1962
You're bidding on the 1st 45 released by the BEACH BOYS titled: Surfin b/w Luau issued on Candix Records
in 1962. This is the 3rd pressing of this 45. The 1st pressing was on Candix # 331 issued in November 1961.
The 2nd pressing was on X Records # 301 issued in December 1961. This 3rd pressing of Surfin was issued
on Candix # 301 in January 1962. The record is in VG+ condition with light scuffs and scratches but still looks
fantastic. The vinyl has a small amount of groove wear that causes a little distortion but still plays great. There's
a small stain on Side 1 by the top of the label by the letters CA of Candix due to sticker residue (since removed)
that darkened the light blue background a bit. Other than that, the labels look fine with No scratches,writing or
tears. If you're a Hardcore Beach Boys / Brian Wilson fan, you need this 45 in your collection no matter what
pressing it is !!
