The BEATLES 3rd State Mono Butcher Cover Yesterday & Today Jacksonville/L.A..
Harder to find L.A. mono butcher cover that was pasted over at the Jacksonville plant and peeled. YES, the Jacksonville plant DID paste over some L.A. covers.
This is evident by the five rings MISSING on the right hand side that are always found on L.A. covers. This can be confirmed by Jim Hansen of Blue Jay Way Galleries.
Cover does have a repaired spine and seams along with writing on the back and tape stains as seen in the pictures. Butcher itself isn’t without issues as you can see. The Jacksonville plant used a much stouter glue than the glues used at the Scranton and L.A. which always resulted in a rough peel.
Record grades a solid VG along with the original inner sleeve.
